Item Call for Participation in the EUROGRAPHICS WORKING GROUP on RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN IMAGE SYNTHESIS and ANALYSIS(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989)Item Response to Morten Zachrisen s Note(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989) Herman, IvanItem Towards an Object-Oriented Interaction Model for Graphics User Interfaces(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989) Hubner, Wolfgang; de Lancastre, ManuelThe increasing importance of the User Interface Management System THESEUS stimulated the development of a formalized graphics input model that is based on the THESEUS input concepts. This paper presents cooperative work by the Zentrum fur Gra-phische Datenverarbeitung (ZGDV), West Germany and IST/INESC, Portugal which aims to formalize, generalize and enhance the THESEUS input model and transfer it to a clean object-oriented approach. The main goal was to establish concepts for specifying and managing user interfaces tailored to the requirements of graphics dialogues- among these concepts are the diversity of input devices, many different kinds of interaction techniques, higher complexity in dialogue structures, dynamic control over dialogue specification, a strong coupling of input and output instead of ping-pong sequencing, powerful output capabilities, support of continuous input operations and a close interlocking between user interface component and application.Item Eurographics Workshop Relation of Page Description Languages and Graphics Systems(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989)Item Eurographics Workshop on Object Oriented Graphics(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989)Item Report on the Third Eurographics Workshop on Intelligent CAD(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989) Kwiers, R.S.S. Furthermore the paper introduces die concept of conic sectors as a generalisation to half-planes and halfspaces respectively, with the invariance property that such sectors are mapped onto other such sectors by projective transformations, and thus enable the transformation of clipping halfplanes and halfspaces. Finally the possibility of transforming die rectangular clipping box into the object space is investigated.Item Yet another Remark on the Modelling Clip Problem(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989) Zachrisen, MortenItem An Annotated PHIGS Bibliography(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989) Howard, T.L.J.Item Polygon Triangulation Algorithm as a Powerful Core Processor of PLAN-I(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989) Chen, Xiangping; Ying, DaoningA concise, complete and reliable algorithm for triangulating an arbitrary polygon is presented as a powerful core processor of PLAN-I (Production Layout Automation Nucleus) system1. A polygon with inner loops is converted into a non-self-intersecting polygon (NIP) through adding Bridge Edges . A triangular splitting algorithm for NIP is described in detail and successfully implemented. The program is about 300 lines in FORTRAN-77. Sweeping and local operations with respect to the triangular-faceted boundary representation are designed with the algorithm to improve functions of solid modeling in PLAN-I. The algorithm of triangulation can also be applied to Boolean operations and other issues.Item Offers to EUROGRAPHICS Members(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989)Item Call for Participation in the EUROGRAPHICS WORKING GROUP on VISUALIZATION IN SCIENTIFIC COMPUTING(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989)Item EUROGRAPHICS ASSOCIATION UK CHAPTER(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989)Item Call for Participation in the EUROGRAPHICS WORKING GROUP on COMPUTER GRAPHICS HARDWARE(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989)Item LEONARDO - New Member Benefit for Members of Eurographics(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989)Item EUROGRAPHICS UK Chapter Conference CGM Demonstration(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989) Duce, D.A.Item Algorithm for Clipping Arbitrary Polygons(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989) Andreev, Rumen D.Item Hidden Octree Node Removal as a Pipeline Process(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989) Heal, B.W.A processing pipeline solution to the generation and display of octree encoded 3-D objects is described. Particular emphasis is given to an algorithm which removes that part a of linear octree code which describes parts of the object which are invisible from a prescribed viewing position. The scope of the algorithm is restricted to viewing directions which are parallel to the Cartesian axes and to orthogonal projections. The algorithm is specifically designed to operate as a single stage within a pipeline of processes.Item EUROGRAPHICS '90(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1989)
