It aims to produce the most comprehensive and up-to-date digital catalogue of such artworks from the 15th and 16th centuries, shedding light on artistic practices, production networks, and regional variations. A tailored metadata schema supports the classification of object types, artists and workshops, technical features, provenance, and conservation history. The resulting Open Access digital library integrates a dynamic search interface and interactive visualisations to explore chronological and geographic trends. Built entirely with front-end web technologies, the catalogue allows users to conduct advanced queries and access detailed records, including descriptions, images, technical data, and bibliography.Attribution 4.0 International LicenseCCS Concepts: Information systems → Digital libraries and archives; Applied computing → Fine artsInformation systems → Digital libraries and archivesApplied computing → Fine artsAn Open Access Catalogue for Renaissance Terracotta Sculpture in Northern Italy10.2312/dh.202532373 pages
