The techniques are based on interactive computing using a graphics terminal for entering and displaying system diagrams, numerical data and output results. These techniques enable engineers to perform sensitivity studies on alternative designs very efficiently, to gain a deeper understanding of system behaviour, to produce improved designs and to achieve better utilisation of existing systems.INTERACTIVE GRAPHICS IN THE ANALYSIS OF PUBLIC UTILITY NETWORKS10.2312/eg.19821013
