To address this gap, we present MosArt: a low-cost, modular system for high-resolution, automated photography of 2D and 2.5D objects. Combining open-source hardware and software, MosArt supports calibration, tiled acquisition, and focus stacking. This paper provides an overview of the system architecture and software components, and illustrates their application through selected case studies.Attribution 4.0 International LicenseHardware → Sensor devices and platforms; Applied computing → Fine arts; Computing methodologies → Image processingHardware → Sensor devices and platformsApplied computing → Fine artsComputing methodologies → Image processingDeveloping MosArt: An Accessible System for High-Quality Technical Photography10.2312/dh.202533802 pages
