This is proved using a fairly realistic noise model. Our theoretical results are related to the problem of computing a stable subset of the medial axis. We demostrate the effectiveness of our algorithm with a number of experimental results.Categories and Subject Descriptors (according to ACM CCS): I.3.3 [Computer Graphics]: Surface Reconstruction, Medial Axis, Noisy samplesSurface Reconstruction for Noisy Point Clouds
