To reduce the total amount of computations for B-spline defined objects, a common display file is proposed, that allows a fast interpretation for both representations. Also i t supports fast previewing techniques and interaction. All B-spline computations are calculated only once in a device independent way before i t is stored in that display file.A NEW DISPLAY FILE STRUCTURE FOR LINE AND SURFACE PRESENTATIONS10.2312/eg.19841006
