Geometry Controls

The controls provided here allow you to apply transformations to the rectangle to which the texture is applied. They are made available so that you can experiment with mixing transformations to the geometry with those you select for the texture mapping.

Selection Panel

There is a group of five radio buttons, four of which are for selecting a transformation and one to set the pivot point of the geometry. Recall that the pivot point is initially the world origin. A reset button is also provided in the panel.

Parameter Input

An input dialogue appears based upon your choice in the selection panel. As with other tutorials, you set a parameter value through mouse press and drag or through the up-arrow and down-arrow keys once an item is selected and is drawn in yellow.
