SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL:

We provide 7 videos of planes rotating under a moving point light source. The planes are textured with the seven validation Bonn BTFs from the paper. From left to right: rendering with the original BTF, rendering with a custom network of Rainer et al. (overfitted to the respective material), and rendering with our pre-trained network. For our general network, the seven unseen materials are projected to 32 scalar latent maps each, which we render from using the decoder part of the network.
