EG education mailing list registration

Eurographics maintains a mailing list: education@eg.org. The simplest way of registering onto this mailing list is to fill the form below. Your email address (only one address, please!):

Workshop on Computer Graphics Education (CGE04)

A workshop on computer graphics education was held jointly with ACM SIGGRAPH at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, June 2-5, 2004.

In order to make the workshop as productive as possible,enrollment was limited. Participants were selected based on position papers submitted for review by the international programme committee.

Results of the workshop were presented at the conference Eurographics 2004 in Grenoble (France), where two sessions were dedicated to educational issues. Slides of the presentation of The Beginning Computer Graphics Course in Computer Science and Visual Learning in Science and Engineering, resp. can be downloaded (also as handout: Computer Graphics Course / Visual Learning).

Workshop on Computer Graphics Education (CGE05)

The next workshop on computer graphics education is planned to be held in conjunction with the annual conference Eurographics 2005 in Dublin (Ireland).

Computer Graphics Educational Materials Source (CGEMS)

A new project, Computer Graphics Educational Materials Source (CGEMS), has been launched by Eurographics and ACM SIGGRAPH. CGEMS is an emerging online refereed repository for curricular materials related to computer graphics.

CGEMS will encompass as many disciplines as possible that incorporate computer graphics, including computer science, math, physics, graphic arts, and "fine" art to name a few. The server is now up and running. Please visit the site at http://cgems.inesc.pt
